Wildlife resorts are located in all of the national parks, including the Namib-Naukluft Park in the Namib Desert, the Etosha National Park, and Fish River Canyon. Of the many highly recommended eco lodges,  Sossusvlei Lodge is one of the best.  It sits on the edge of the Namib and offers tours, activities and lodging in a wild desert landscape.

Etosha National Park is home to the Mokuti Lodge, a beautiful oasis with luxury accommodations set against the rugged desert landscape. The far east of Namibia is home to Katima Mulilo, a small town situated in the Caprivi Strip, a narrow piece of land that juts out of Namibia’s eastern border.  Its lush, jungle landscape is home to many species of birds and monkeys.  Waterford Plateau Park, east of Katima Mulilo, is a savannah landscape, and is home to animals such as elephants and rhinoceros.
